How long should I leave my child rearward facing?
Although the guidelines state “Children up to the age of 6 months must use a rear-facing child car seat.” As licensed fitters we recommend children remain reward facing for a long as possible.
I think my child is ready to be forward facing?
It is important to note age is a guide, height is a better indicator. As long as your child has exceeded the upper height markers and can no longer sit comfortably in the seat.
When can my child move out of their booster seat into an adult seat?
The suggested minimum height for using a seat belt is 145cm or taller.
My baby hates the car seat, What can I do to make them comfortable?
Install a 360 degree mirror, this allows your baby to see you and you can see your baby. The mirror attaches easily to the back of the head rest.
If my child is not correctly restrained will I be fined if I am pulled over by the police?

I can’t find the anchor point position in the rear of my car, do I have them?
Under ADR (Australian Design Rules) all cars manufactured after 1985 must have anchor points fitted to the second row of seats. If you are having difficulty locating them, contact us and we can advise you.
If I remove seats from my car after they were installed by a licensed fitter, is the fitting still covered by the certificate?
No. The certificate is issued by the licensed fitter and covers the fitting at the time of installation.
